ADDING a FUNtastic OBSERVATION SECRET

Not anymore! Get ready to have all ages laugh and learn with our latest SOCCERevolution activity – “Tracking the Rolls.” We’re diving into the hilarious world of dramatic falls, where players roll on the ground as if auditioning for an action movie. Let’s turn these theatrical tumbles into a fun and educational game!

Here’s how to join in the fun:

1. Define a Roll:

  • Roll: A complete 360-degree turn of the player’s body on the ground.
  • Partial Roll: Less than a full turn.

2. Contact vs. Non-Contact:

  • Contact Roll: After physical contact with another player, ball, or object.
  • Non-Contact Roll: No physical contact is involved.

3. Categories of Contact:

  • Light Contact: Minimal touch.
  • Moderate Contact: Clear but not severe interaction.
  • Heavy Contact: Significant interaction likely to cause a fall.

How to Track:

Example Log:

Have Fun and Learn:

  • Statistics: Count the rolls and see who has the most.
  • Analysis: Discuss why players might roll and how to avoid it in their own games.
  • Visualization: Draw simple charts or graphs to show your findings.

And Keep Their Eyes From Rolling!
