You’ve actually had a bad influence on me. I went to my daughter’s first baseball practice, and the coach had all the kids stand in lines doing boring drills. I was going nuts. It’s taken me a couple of practices, but I’ve finally convinced him to let me take 2 girls at a time out to practice hitting whiffle balls.
Not surprisingly, but it doesn’t win me any favors with the coach, the girls who are doing the drills are pleading with the coach that they want to come over and hit with me because “it’s more fun”. Sound familiar?
